Legal Bases for Processing

Where we obtain consent for the processing of personal data, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR serves as the legal basis. Where processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR serves as the legal basis. Where processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR serves as the legal basis. Processing that is necessary to protect our legitimate interests or those of a third party, and which is not overridden by the interests or fundamental rights of the data subject, is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Retention Periods

Unless a more specific retention period has been stated within this Privacy Policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for which it was collected no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion or revoke consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for retaining it (e.g. statutory retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, deletion will occur after those reasons cease to apply.

Your Rights as a Data Subject

You have the following rights with regard to the personal data concerning you:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Right to withdraw consent already given (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

To exercise your rights, please contact: info@a1mags.de

Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data. The supervisory authority competent for us is:

(State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony)
Prinzenstraße 5
30159 Hannover, Germany

SSL / TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address bar changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock icon in your browser bar.

II. Data Collection on This Website

Hosting – IONOS

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you visit our website, IONOS automatically collects information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. Collection of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website — for this purpose, server log files must be recorded. Data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected, at the latest after 7 days.

We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with IONOS pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

Statistical analysis (IONOS WebAnalytics)

The access data recorded in the server log files (requested page or file, referrer URL, browser type and version, operating system, device type, time of access) are analysed by IONOS using its “WebAnalytics” service to produce statistics on the use of our website. According to IONOS, IP addresses are anonymised. The statistical analyses do not serve to identify individual visitors. No cookies are set and no tracking pixels are used. The analysis serves exclusively statistical purposes and the technical optimisation of our website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in analysing and optimising our website. Processing takes place under the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with IONOS mentioned above.

Cookie and Consent Management – Complianz

This website uses Complianz to provide information about the use of cookies and – where optional cookies are used – to manage consents. Complianz runs as a WordPress plugin on the server infrastructure we use at IONOS. In addition to strictly necessary cookies, this website uses the web analytics service Google Analytics 4 – only after you have consented to the “Analytics” category (see section “Web Analytics – Google Analytics 4”). No marketing services are used.

A notice banner informs you about the use of cookies. You can reopen your settings at any time using the “Cookie settings” access provided on the website. Complianz stores the banner and decision status in strictly necessary cookies with a storage period of up to 365 days.

Where personal data are processed in connection with these strictly necessary functions, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically reliable and privacy-compliant provision of the website and in storing the settings you have selected. Where consent has been given, the processing required to document that consent serves to comply with the accountability requirement under Art. 7(1) GDPR.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that your web browser stores on your device. When you revisit our website, stored information may be accessed again.

We distinguish between strictly necessary cookies and optional cookies. Strictly necessary cookies and comparable technologies are used where they are required for basic website functions or for functions explicitly requested by you. This includes, in particular, storing your selected language and your cookie and privacy settings. Under Section 25(2) TDDDG, consent is not required for storage or access that is strictly necessary.

Optional cookies or comparable technologies, for example for analytics or marketing purposes, are used only if such technologies are actually deployed on this website and you have given your prior consent. In that case, storage or access is based on your consent pursuant to Section 25(1) TDDDG. Where personal data are processed on the basis of that consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR is the legal basis.

You can reopen and change your cookie settings at any time using the “Cookie settings” access provided on the website.

Web Analytics – Google Analytics 4

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). We use the service to analyse the use of our website statistically and to improve our offering.

Consent and withdrawal: Google Analytics is loaded only after you have consented to the “Analytics” category via our consent banner. Without your consent, no data is transmitted to Google. The legal basis for storing and accessing information on your device is Section 25 (1) TDDDG; for the subsequent processing of personal data it is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via “Cookie settings”. After withdrawal, no further data is transmitted to Google and the Google Analytics cookies in your browser are deleted. The lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal remains unaffected. Data already transmitted to Google before the withdrawal is not deleted retroactively; the retention period stated below applies to it.

Data processed: In particular pages visited, time and duration of the visit, scrolling behaviour, clicks on external links and downloads, referring page, device and browser information, language setting and approximate location (e.g. country, region, city).

IP address: To connect to Google Analytics, your IP address is technically transmitted to Google. According to Google, data from users in the EU is received via servers in the EU; the IP address is used there only to derive the approximate location and is then deleted. Full IP addresses are not logged or stored in Google Analytics 4.

Cookies: Google Analytics sets the cookies “_ga” (to distinguish users) and “_ga_<ID>” (to persist session state) on our domain. Their intended lifetime is up to 2 years each; some browsers limit this (e.g. Google Chrome to a maximum of 400 days).

Retention: The retention period for user-level and event-level data associated with cookies or device identifiers is set to 14 months in Google Analytics; after that, this data is deleted automatically. Aggregated statistical reports without reference to individual users are not affected.

Privacy-friendly settings: Google Signals, advertising features, collection of granular location and device data and data sharing with Google for its own purposes are disabled.

Data processing terms and transfers to third countries: We have concluded the Google Ads Data Processing Terms (data processing agreement) with Google. A transfer of data to Google LLC in the USA cannot be ruled out. Google primarily bases such transfers on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is certified (adequacy decision of the European Commission, Art. 45 GDPR). Where this does not apply in an individual case, Google’s data processing terms additionally provide for standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR).

Contact Requests – Fluent Forms

If you send us an enquiry via the contact form on this website, your details from the enquiry form (first name, last name, company, e-mail address, telephone number, subject, and message) will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions.

The contact form is operated by the plugin Fluent Forms (WPManageNinja LLC). Fluent Forms processes form data exclusively locally on our hosting server (IONOS). No data is transferred to external Fluent Forms servers or cloud services. The data entered is stored in the local WordPress database. The internal notification of incoming enquiries is sent by e-mail to info@a1mags.de via the mail server of our hosting provider IONOS (smtp.ionos.de); no automatic reply is sent to you.

Your enquiry is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where this is necessary for the performance of a contract or for pre-contractual measures taken at your request. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in handling and responding to your enquiry pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data is deleted once the enquiry has been conclusively processed, at the latest after 2 years, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Enquiries by E-mail or Telephone

If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, your enquiry including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not share this data without your consent. Processing of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) where this has been requested. Data is deleted once the enquiry has been conclusively processed, at the latest after 2 years.
