Why A1MAGS exists
Companies rarely seek external support without good reason. Usually, they face a challenge that can no longer be resolved satisfactorily with the resources or experience available internally – a plant is not performing as planned, financial performance is falling short of expectations, a new site needs to be built, or an international organisation needs to be realigned.
In situations like these, a concept alone is not enough. What is needed is experience, clear decisions, and the ability to take responsibility through to execution.
That is precisely why A1MAGS exists. We think and act entrepreneurially and see decisions through to practical execution.
How we work
A1MAGS deliberately operates with a small, experienced leadership team. The consulting model provides for personal leadership of every project.
You work with us – not with a separate delivery team.
The A1MAGS consulting model is built on personal project responsibility; engagements are not handed over to third parties. The people you discuss the project with remain your direct contacts throughout execution.
Few engagements, full attention.
The consulting model is deliberately designed for a limited number of parallel projects. Operational responsibility requires time, availability and – when the task calls for it – presence on site.
Short lines, fast decisions.
You speak directly with the people responsible. This keeps coordination lean and allows decisions to be prepared and executed quickly.
Clear responsibility.
Even when additional specialist expertise is brought in for specific issues, project leadership and overall responsibility remain with A1MAGS.
Leadership & Advisory
Every project is designed to be personally supported and led by Sandra Greiner or Dr. Martin Greiner, with clear accountability. Who takes responsibility depends on the nature of the assignment and its specific functional focus.
Sandra Greiner, MBA
Senior Advisor – Organisation & Procurement
Sandra Greiner has many years of experience in international procurement and supplier management, and in earlier roles she held purchasing responsibility herself and led the purchasing function. Her experience spans a range of industries and procurement markets – among them chemicals, automotive and the cable industry, as well as the gas and utilities sector and other industrial procurement environments.
Her understanding of procurement combines commercial objectives with quality, delivery reliability and a resilient supplier base. Her experience ranges from the selection and qualification of international suppliers through their development and management to commercial and organisational execution. Her professional experience includes strategic procurement and involvement in complex Europe-wide tendering procedures for engineering and planning services in the energy infrastructure sector.
Within engagements, she takes particular responsibility where procurement, supplier management, organisation and international coordination intersect.
Dr. Martin Greiner
Founder & Principal Consultant
More than 30 years of operational leadership responsibility in international industrial companies – as Managing Director, Plant Manager and Operations Executive. He has built greenfield production sites in China, led companies and plants through periods of transformation, and held accountability for results across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. His background lies in the cable, telecommunications, energy and infrastructure industries and spans international industrial and manufacturing organisations with complex supply-chain and transformation challenges.
His perspective is that of a manager who has personally been accountable for decisions and their outcomes.

The right expertise, when it is needed
Not every task can be solved with the same capabilities. When additional specialist knowledge is required, we selectively draw on trusted experts with whom we have, in some cases, worked successfully for many years – for example in controlling, sales, logistics, tax and employment law, or specialised technical fields.
These relationships have developed through long-standing personal collaboration and are brought into projects as required. We do not present a virtual consulting network; instead, we extend our core team precisely where a specific engagement requires additional expertise.
